Al Maun Welfare Foundation Canada is an independent, non-profit organization based in Central Alberta, Canada dedicated to provide Islamic religious activities according to the Book of Allah, the Qur’aan, and the authentic teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (sallaa Allahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). Since its inception on August 2020, the foundation has established and managed two mosques in Central Alberta region- one at Sylvan Lake and the other one at Lacombe.
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).” (Sahih Muslim)

"The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful. "
